An elegant young stallion of overall good type, uphill construction and rhythmical movement. Autograph demonstrates fluid gaits with powerful hock action, free shoulder and a naturally balanced canter with good correctness. At his licensing the judges commented: 'Supple and correct in his movement; and very laid back.' Autograph scored all 7's & 8's on his inspection, though he was unable to complete the jumping evaluation due to previous injury as a yearling - full report available to serious breeders. He has a very sweet and willing temperament.
His sire, Pr. H. Artenstolz (at left), was a very modern type of warmblood stallion: ideal conformation, three pure paces, superior rideability and outstanding temperament. As a young stallion in Germany, Artenstolz won many foal premiums and conformation /riding horse classes. Following a successful jumper career to M levels, he was an FEI Dressage Champion competing at Prix St. George and Intermediare I. He was long listed for the Canadian Dressage Team in 1997.
Autograph's dam earned a premium on her mare inspection. Her sire, Arkansas (at left), has achieved considerable recognition as a broodmare sire - Escudo I, Escudo II, Landover & Autograph. It is easy to see the Arkansas stamp on Autograph with his good type and elegant neck.
Autograph's foal crops are exceptionally consistent in type, boldness & movement - 4 foals from his first crop evaluated, scoring 7.75 to 8.75 - from both warmblood and TB mares.
Autograph has the pedigree for both dressage and jumpers.
